The Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>\u2019 NFL playoff seeding is still unsettled, but it could be determined in Week 17. <\/p>\n

And there\u2019s one team Birds fans should be rooting against on Sunday \u2014 other than the Buffalo Bills, of course.<\/p>\n

The Eagles (10-5) will, in all likelihood, be the NFC\u2019s No. 3 seed. Philadelphia just needs to win or tie one of its two remaining games or have the Carolina Panthers lose once to secure that. <\/p>\n

The Eagles play the Bills on Sunday, then the Washington Commanders at home in Week 18. The Panthers (8-7) play the Seattle Seahawks and on the road vs. the Tampa Bay Bucs.<\/p>\n

The Eagles have no chance at the No. 1 seed. That was cemented when the San Francisco 49ers beat the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night. <\/p>\n

The 49ers (11-4) and Seahawks (12-3), who play each other in Week 18, control their own destiny to the No. 1 seed. <\/p>\n

The Eagles do, however, have a chance at the No. 2 seed \u2014 which would guarantee a second home game at the Linc in the NFC Divisional round. <\/p>\n

That path is straightforward. The Eagles need to win their next two games and have the Chicago Bears (11-4) lose their next two. <\/p>\n

The Bears are three-point road underdogs against the 49ers on Sunday night, per FanDuel. In Week 18, Chicago hosts the Detroit Lions. The Lions have been eliminated from postseason contention, but it\u2019s likely Dan Campbell would play his starters and try to play spoiler. <\/p>\n

If the Eagles secure the No. 2 seed, they could play the Green Bay Packers (9-5-1). <\/p>\n

If they\u2019re the No. 3 seed, it\u2019s likely they\u2019ll face either the 49ers or Los Angeles Rams (11-4).<\/p>\n

Regardless of seeding, the Eagles will want to go into Buffalo and make a statement by beating the Bills. Philadelphia is a slight 1.5-point road underdog. <\/p>\n
