“Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph,” can be expected according to the weather service. “The heaviest snow is expected late Monday afternoon and evening. Snowfall rates may reach 1 inch per hour at times.”<\/p>\n
“Plan on slippery road conditions with slower travel likely. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes. Strong winds could cause tree damage,” says the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel restrictions and delay unnecessary travel.”<\/p>\n
