BETHLEHEM, Pa. – We are hearing from neighbors who were around when a shooting happened outside a Bethlehem McDonalds Saturday night.<\/p>\n
“I was inside of my house. I was playing video games, so I had my headset on and then I had my window cracked because it was hot, so I heard a pop,” said Kevin Bernal, a neighbor.<\/p>\n
Bernal said he looked out his window to see what was happening when he heard that noise in the area of McDonalds on Wyandotte Street.<\/p>\n
Bernal said he did not see anything at first, so he went back to playing video games.<\/p>\n
“The next thing I see is just the blue and red lights. There was a red car right there he got stuck, I think he got shot right in the car,” said Bernal.<\/p>\n
Police said a man was shot outside the McDonalds.<\/p>\n
According to investigators, the suspects and the victim were all together.<\/p>\n
“I was surprised, yeah a little surprised that it happened in front of my house.”<\/p>\n
Jarrett Berg said he heard yelling, but initially did not think much of it because it is typically a noisy intersection.<\/p>\n
“But you know the shots started going off and I was about to go out with my daughter. I stayed inside for the rest of the night. I’m not about to put myself in a situation like that,” said Berg.<\/p>\n
Police said the shooting does not appear to be random.<\/p>\n
According to investigators, the man who was shot was taken to the hospital and had surgery.<\/p>\n
A car could be seen being towed away from the McDonalds parking lot.<\/p>\n
“It could’ve came through the wall, like my bedroom is in the front of my house,” said Berg.<\/p>\n
The shooting happened in an area Berg said he normally feels safe.<\/p>\n
“It’s just sad really, honestly,” said Berg.<\/p>\n
At this time, there is no word on the condition of the man who police said was shot or on what may have led up to this shooting.<\/p>\n
