Jacob Bard was visiting the Kentucky State University campus in Frankfort, Kentucky, to see his son on December 9 when the incident took place. The [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n Noll\u2019s mother was later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the outlet. Meanwhile, his father was released from the hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n Authorities soon launched a manhunt for Noll, who fled the home on foot after he allegedly shot both of his parents. Police considered him to be armed and dangerous after they conducted an \u201cextensive search\u201d of the area near the crime scene.<\/p>\n \u201cWe used tracking dogs, we used helicopters, and we used police on foot searching rough terrain,\u201d Pennsylvania State Police Sergeant Richard Sizer said of the search, according to CBS News<\/a>. \u201cObviously, when you have someone on the run with a homicide warrant, on the run with a gun, it is a huge danger to the community.\u201d<\/p>\n Authorities said that there was poor cell service as they looked for Noll on the night of December 26, which made their search more difficult.
