The Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> are entering Week 7 in bad need of coming through with a win over the Minnesota Vikings. After losing two straight games, there are a lot of questions that the team needs to answer.<\/p>\n

Once again this season, a lot of questions have surrounded star wide receiver AJ Brown and his future with the team. There seems to be issues between Brown and Jalen Hurts once again. Due to the potential issues, trade rumors have been swirling around Brown’s name, just like they were at times last season.<\/p>\n

Brown has started off the 2025 NFL season with very inconsistent production. In six games, he has racked up 25 receptions for 274 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n

Looking around the NFL, there is no question that Brown is one of the most talented wide receivers in the league. Should he hit the trade block, there would be a long list of teams with interest in him. But, will he be made available by the Eagles?<\/p>\n

A new update has been shared about the trade rumors surrounding Brown.<\/p>\n

Dianna Russini, an NFL insider for The Athletic, has shared Philadelphia’s current stance towards a potential Brown trade. She has heard that the Eagles simply aren’t interested in moving him at this point in time.<\/p>\n

“The Eagles are in search of help at edge rusher and cornerback,” Russini wrote<\/a>. “They have received calls on A.J. Brown, and teams are being told, ‘We aren\u2019t moving him now.'”<\/p>\n

No one should be surprised by this update. Brown is a huge part of the Philadelphia offense. Trading him would leave a major hole to be filled.<\/p>\n

Granted, this will be a situation to keep a close eye on as the trade deadline draws closer. If there are legitimate issues between Brown and Hurts, something might need to give. However, the Eagles are not going to be in a rush to cut ties with the 28-year-old wide receiver.<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see how Philadelphia fares in Week 7 against the Vikings. Losing a third straight game could force the Eagles to consider making changes. They have not looked dominant throughout the first six games of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

While the newest update suggests that Philadelphia will not be trading Brown, the idea cannot be completely counted out just yet.<\/p>\n
