Joining him will be local hero DJ Jazzy Jeff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhilly, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vice.com\/en\/article\/its-in-the-past-now-the-ll-cool-j-album-that-ended-in-relative-failure-and-what-he-learned-from-it\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">don\u2019t call it a comeback<\/a>. We\u2019ve got unfinished business. Shout out to the Mayor for the invitation! Meet me on the Oval this New Year\u2019s Eve as we bring in 2026\u2014live,\u201d LL Cool J said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to LL and Jazzy, Grammy-winning musician Adam Blackstone and hard rock band Dorothy will perform. Join us for Philly\u2019s first-ever New Year\u2019s Eve outdoor concert as we kick off 2026 in America\u2019s Birthplace.\u201d She added that \u201cthis is truly the place to start our celebration of this historic anniversary!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Philadelphia Orchestra Is Offering a Big NYE Concert As Well<\/p>\n<p>The Philadelphia Orchestra is also hosting a big concert on New Year\u2019s Eve, one for those in Philly who are seeking a different experience.<\/p>\n<p>The concert will feature guest conductor Anthony Parnther. The conductor is \u201cfamed for his soaring readings of hit movie scores.\u201d This includes the Oscar-winning score for Oppenheimer, GRAMMY-winning Encanto, and Emmy-winning The Mandalorian.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoin this dynamic music-maker and the GRAMMY-winning Philadelphia Orchestra in a goosebump-inducing performance of great music,\u201d reads a description of the concert.
