He appeared in 187 career OHL games for Erie, recording 60 goals and 76 assists for 136 points.<\/p>\n<p>Back to Headrick, he skated in 51 games with Kitchener, recording three goals, four assists, seven points over parts of two seasons. He had three assists in 32 games this \u201925-\u201926 season with the Rangers.<\/p>\n<p>Headrick missed much of his \u201924-\u201925 OHL rookie season due to injury. He is known for his scrappy nature and willingness to play in traffic despite his size. He is the younger brother of former Otters defenceman Owen Headrick, who was part of Erie\u2019s 2017 OHL championship team that lost to the host Windsor Spitfires in that year\u2019s Memorial Cup title tilt.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement 3<\/p>\n<p>This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n<p>Article content<\/p>\n<p>Erie general manager Dave Brown had plenty good to say about the acquisition of the younger Headrick.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvan comes from a family with deep roots here in Erie. We believed in him throughout his draft year.
