A man is facing charges after he tried to lure a 13-year-old girl into his white Dodge Ram pickup truck in Upper Darby on Monday, Dec. 29, police said. <\/p>\n
According to police, the incident happened at the 8200 block of West Chester Pike when a man approached the girl as she was walking and tried to coerce her into his truck.<\/p>\n
The girl refused the man and then sought help at a nearby business, police said. A witness then confronted the man, who then left the area. <\/p>\n
Police said they were able to locate the man and take him into custody. He now faces criminal charges, but his identity was not immediately available.<\/p>\n
Anyone who believes they have information on similar incidents involving a white Dodge Ram pickup truck are urged to contact police immediately. <\/p>\n
