Police say they are operating with a \u201czero-tolerance enforcement policy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police say checkpoints will be placed on roadways from December 29 to January 4 that are experiencing high rates of DUI-related traffic violations and DUI-related crashes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a class=\"link  yahoo-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/2-whistle-blowing-troopers-sue-232209601.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:2 whistle-blowing troopers sue for alleged retaliation;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> 2 whistle-blowing troopers sue for alleged retaliation <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">State police encourage those who are out and choose to consume alcohol to not drive a car.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The counties participating in the DUI checkpoints are as follows:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">PSP did not give details on the areas where the patrols will be conducted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Officials warn drivers Pennsylvania\u2019s DUI laws issue a legal limit of .08% blood alcohol concentration (BAC).
