For girls, Sophia led the rankings, followed by Olivia, Charlotte, and a tie between Amelia and Zoe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"6A5L66QAEBCSDJW7KXNY6L5UUA\">St. Luke\u2019s Allentown Campus showed Charlotte as the top girls\u2019 name, followed by Lainey, Gianna, and a three-way tie between Isabelle, Olivia and Sofia. Noah also claimed the top spot for boys at the Allentown location, with Elijah, Michael, and a tie between Oliver and Theodore rounding out the list.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"4Z2LL6HTH5FDPP5DFRLJXF7T2M\">The 2025 rankings show some consistency with previous years. In 2024, the most popular girls\u2019 names across St. Luke\u2019s network were Olivia, Mia, Sophia or Sofia, and Charlotte. The top boys\u2019 names that year were Liam, Noah, Lucas or Luke, and Henry. In 2023, Isabella and Liam were the leading names.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"NKDMHE2UIVB6NBU2SDVJEZMVR4\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/topic\/lehigh%20valley%20health%20network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/topic\/lehigh%20valley%20health%20network\/\">Lehigh Valley Health Network<\/a> parent Jefferson Health says Sophia and Noah topped its list of most popular baby names in 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"HFS2GSOUE5AUBPPP7P5K4P7RSA\">Parents across Jefferson Health\u2019s 10 delivery facilities showed preferences that mirror national trends while adding distinctly Philadelphia flavor to their choices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"7NTQCMFNABEGLDPXNZ3VIPAURI\">Sixty parents chose Sophia for their daughters, making it the most popular girl\u2019s name at Jefferson Health. Emma came in second with 53 babies, followed by Isabella with 52. For boys, Noah dominated with 103 babies receiving the name, while Liam claimed second place with 91.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"ITZU2CSUPZESRPVCYQB62C4JJY\">The local preferences align closely with national data from babycenter.com, which shows <a href=\"https:\/\/www.babycenter.com\/baby-names\/most-popular\/top-baby-names-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.babycenter.com\/baby-names\/most-popular\/top-baby-names-2025\">Noah and Olivia holding the top spots for boys and girls nationally<\/a>. The national top five boy names remained unchanged from 2024, with Noah, Liam, Oliver, Elijah and Mateo claiming the spots in that order.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"7LPNQTRFNNB25F7REH4LDQUADU\">The sports culture in Philadelphia, where Jefferson Health is based, left its mark on naming trends this year. More than 45 babies were named Cooper, potentially inspired by Eagles player <a href=\"https:\/\/www.philadelphiaeagles.com\/team\/players-roster\/cooper-dejean\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.philadelphiaeagles.com\/team\/players-roster\/cooper-dejean\/\">Cooper DeJean<\/a> or hometown actor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0177896\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0177896\/\">Bradley Cooper<\/a>. Seven Jalens were born, possibly referencing Eagles quarterback <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4040715\/jalen-hurts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4040715\/jalen-hurts\">Jalen Hurts<\/a>. Baseball fans contributed to the 35 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/h\/harpebr03.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/h\/harpebr03.shtml\">Harpers<\/a> born to parents at Jefferson Health facilities, while seven Bryces also arrived. One baby boy was named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jason.kelce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jason.kelce\/\">Kelce<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"VZA3ZA32QZCXVGFSJGTN247AZU\">Parents also selected unconventional names including geographic references such as Toronto, Egypt, Boston, Bronx and Holland, according to the Jefferson Health roundup of 2025 baby names.
