{"id":75099,"date":"2025-12-31T21:52:06","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T21:52:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/75099\/"},"modified":"2025-12-31T21:52:06","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T21:52:06","slug":"convicted-felon-faces-federal-indictment-after-joint-investigation-between-pittsburgh-police-atf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/75099\/","title":{"rendered":"Convicted felon faces federal indictment after joint investigation between Pittsburgh Police, ATF"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">A convicted felon is now facing federal indictment as part of an investigation stemming from a neighborhood safety program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">According to the Department of Justice, Jayvon Turner, 23, of Beaver Falls, was indicted by a federal grand jury on Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Turner was found to be in possession of a gun and ammunition, which is illegal because of his previous conviction for robbery, investigators said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The arrest stems from an investigation between the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The case is part of a neighborhood safety program, which was launched in an attempt to reduce violent crimes.
