In Lansdale, hundreds of people lined the sidewalk on Saturday holding up signs, some that read “No Kings in America.”<\/p>\n
They joined demonstrators across the country in No Kings events protesting the Trump administration.<\/p>\n
It was a similar scene on Penn Avenue in Wyomissing where some people got dressed up for the protest.<\/p>\n
“Today, we are joining in the national rally for No Kings Day, National Day of loving America and wanting to make our voices heard,” said Steven Schmid.<\/p>\n
Schmid was among the hundreds of people in Easton’s center square.<\/p>\n
“We want something here in Easton where the Declaration of Independence was actually read to the public,” said Schmid.<\/p>\n
Michelle Mecham was at the Allentown No Kings Protest on Cedar Crest Boulevard.<\/p>\n
“We’re all out here because there have been longstanding and more recent troubles with the Trump administration,” said Mecham.<\/p>\n
It was protest with hundreds of people, which Mecham said she found inspiring.<\/p>\n
