READING, Pa. \u2013 Children\u00a0got a jump start on the new year at the Reading Public Museum.<\/p>\n
People were invited to dance the day away at the museum’s annual “Noon Year’s Eve” party.<\/p>\n
Children could make their own noisemakers and other fun props, all before hitting the dance floor and counting down to noon.<\/p>\n
Organizers say the sold-out event allowed everyone to get in on the fun.<\/p>\n
“Recognizing that not everybody can stay up until midnight,” said Becky Ruth, museum educator. “So it’s a fun way to ring in the New Year a little bit earlier.”<\/p>\n
