ALSACE TWP., Pa. \u2013 It was a German New Year&#8217;s Eve celebration in Berks County.<\/p>\n<p>Dave Kline brought the live tunes at the Reading Liederkranz in Lower Alsace Township on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p>The club&#8217;s New Year&#8217;s Eve celebration was completely sold out.<\/p>\n<p>People came out for the delicious food, traditional music and, of course, the big pretzel drop.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the pretzel is lowered at 6 p.m. to celebrate the start of the new year in Germany.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"L.
