The Lehigh Valley\u2019s newest Popeyes location is set to open soon in Lower Nazareth Township<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen<\/a> is under construction at the southwest corner of Easton-Nazareth Highway (Route 248) and Eastgate Boulevard. Jebran Khan, who\u2019s leading the restaurant\u2019s development, couldn\u2019t immediately be reached for opening details Friday morning.<\/p>\n

Khan, however, told WFMZ-69 News he is expecting the Nazareth area eatery to open in early February<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nationally, Popeyes has around 3,300 locations. There are more regional sites in the Allentown area and along MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township. The most recent sites to open prior to the Lower Nazareth construction were a Popeyes along South Fourth St. in Allentown<\/a>, which opened Dec. 23, 2022; and on the site of the former Ahart\u2019s Market <\/a>in Phillipsburg, which opened in January 2024.<\/a><\/p>\n

Lower Nazareth Planning & Zoning Administrator Lori Seese couldn\u2019t immediately be reached for information on the plans. Typical Popeyes restaurants, however, average around 2,000 square feet with seating for roughly 40 people. The majority also include a drive-thru lane and ample parking.<\/p>\n

Popeyes, owned by Restaurant Brands International Inc., is known for its fried chicken, seafood, biscuits and such sides as mashed potatoes with cajun gravy; homestyle macaroni and cheese; cajun fries and red beans and rice.<\/p>\n
