The merger will expand the bank into Pennsylvania and increase its footprint to 100 locations across six states, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/burke--herbert-financial-services-corp-and-linkbancorp-inc-announce-agreement-to-merge-302646371.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-four new bank branches and four loan production offices are planned across Harrisburg, Lancaster, and York, Pa., the Philadelphia area, and Annapolis, Md., according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/s203.q4cdn.com\/604376073\/files\/doc_presentations\/2025\/Dec\/18\/Merger-Agreement-Investor-Presentation.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">presentation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>These will join Burke &amp; Herbert\u2019s nearly 80 existing locations across Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Kentucky, including its Old Town headquarters at 100 S. Fairfax Street.<\/p>\n<p>The deal is expected to culminate in approximately $11 billion in assets for the bank, with $9.1 billion in deposits and another $8 billion in loans, according to the presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alxnow.com\/2025\/09\/23\/burke-herbert-bank-seeks-approval-for-illuminated-signs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">1852,<\/a>\u00a0Burke &amp; Herbert is the oldest bank in the commonwealth. The acquisition \u201cmarks another transformative milestone\u201d in the company\u2019s history, CEO David P.
