PennDOT maintenance crews<\/a> will conduct multiple road projects across Lehigh County<\/a> this week, including bridge repairs, crack sealing, and brush cutting that will result in lane restrictions during daytime hours.<\/p>\n

Two bridge repair projects are scheduled in the county. In Upper Saucon Township, Limeport Pike between Spinnerstown Road and Elementary Road will have lane restrictions with flagging from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Jan. 6. <\/p>\n

In Lynn Township, Route 309 between Memorial Road and Mountain Road will experience similar restrictions from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 7 through Jan. 9.<\/p>\n

PennDOT crews will perform crack sealing on several roads. Route 29 between Berks County Line and Cedar Crest Boulevard in Lower Macungie and Emmaus will have restrictions through Jan. 7 during the same hours.<\/p>\n

Trexlertown Road in Upper Macungie Township between Spring Creek Road and Hamilton Boulevard will have lane restrictions from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 6. Spinnerstown Road in Lower Milford Township between Bucks County Line and Kings Highway will experience restrictions Jan. 6 through Jan. 9.<\/p>\n

Additional crack sealing will take place on Kings Highway in Lower Milford and Upper Milford townships between Bucks County Line and Chestnut Street from Jan. 7 through Jan. 9. Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie between Weiler\u2019s Road and Route 222 will have lane restrictions during the same period.<\/p>\n

Brush cutting projects are scheduled for two North Whitehall Township roads. Old Post Road between Routes 329 and 873 will have lane restrictions with flagging from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 6. Shankweiler Road between Route 309 and Cedar Crest Boulevard will experience similar restrictions Jan. 7-9.<\/p>\n

All scheduled work will take place between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will not be delayed by rain. All projects will be completed by PennDOT maintenance forces.<\/p>\n

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com<\/a>. The service is free and available 24 hours a day, providing traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X.<\/p>\n
