{"id":79537,"date":"2026-01-06T20:02:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-06T20:02:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/79537\/"},"modified":"2026-01-06T20:02:15","modified_gmt":"2026-01-06T20:02:15","slug":"pennsylvania-to-receive-193m-in-federal-funding-to-improve-rural-health-care-access-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/79537\/","title":{"rendered":"Pennsylvania to receive $193M in federal funding to improve rural health care access \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Pennsylvania will receive $193.3 million from the federal government to help implement the commonwealth\u2019s plan<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/pittsburgh\/news\/2024\/07\/18\/rural-health-care-crisis-pennsylvania-hospitals.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> to improve access to health care in rural areas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Pennsylvania\u2019s funding comes from $50 billion set aside from a bill last year to fund the Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services\u2019 Rural Health Transformation Program that will provide between $147 million and $281 million for each state in the first year.
