\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Suzanne M. Wargo, 77, of the Green Ridge section of Scranton died Monday January 5, 2026 at the Oak Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center. Her husband of 50 years is Stephen W. Wargo.<\/p>\n
\nBorn in Buffalo, New York, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Esther Nowakowski.<\/p>\n
\nAfter graduating from SUNY Buffalo, Suzanne traveled throughout Europe, before settling in Connecticut and starting a life with her husband, Steve. She lived a busy life, but was able to balance her job as an HR professional with becoming the ultimate sports mom for her two sons, annual Disney trips, religiously watching UCONN Women\u2019s Basketball, monthly excursions to Foxwoods Casino, and making the long drive back home to Buffalo to see family.<\/p>\n
\nAlso surviving are sons Seth Wargo and wife Lisa, Scranton, and Shawn Wargo, Connecticut; grandchildren Kyle and Ari Wargo; step-daughter Bonnie Park and husband Fred, Massachusetts and their children Aiden, Rowan, and Logan; sister-in-law Joanne Nowakowski, New York; nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
\nShe was preceded in death by brother Michael Nowakowski.<\/p>\n
\nA celebration of Suzanne\u2019s life will be celebrated Friday from 10 am \u2013 12 pm in the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton.<\/p>\n
