G.P. Harris Construction<\/a>, Inc.\u00a0President Greg Harris\u00a0has been elected as the 2026 President of the Pennsylvania<\/a> Builders Association (PBA<\/a>).\u00a0\n<\/p>\n According to a release,\u00a0Harris will serve on PBA\u2019s Board of Directors and will\u00a0be responsible for\u00a0overseeing the association\u2019s activities on both state and national levels. As\u00a0president,\u00a0Harris\u00a0will serve as the liaison to all coalitions and task forces on which PBA is a member.\u00a0He\u00a0previously served as\u00a0vice\u00a0president and\u00a0secretary to PBA.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Harris is a\u00a0member and\u00a0past\u00a0president of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg<\/a>. He has\u00a0Harris\u00a0helped\u00a0PBA\u00a0initiate\u00a0a strategic plan, develop a budget, and work\u00a0with other Senior Officers and the Board of Directors. Harris is a member of the National Association of Home Builders<\/a>.\u00a0In June\u00a02020,\u00a0he\u00a0was\u00a0named\u00a0the National Home Builders Association Remodeler of the Month.\u00a0<\/p>\n Harris\u00a0will be formally installed during\u00a0the Annual Gala at the Hotel Hershey in March as part of\u00a0the PBA\u00a0Winter Board Meeting.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n PBA was chartered in 1945\u00a0and\u00a0is a nonprofit professional trade organization\u00a0representing\u00a04,000 members across\u00a0Pennsylvania. PBA members and their employees include builders, remodelers, material suppliers,\u00a0subcontractors, consultants, lending institutions,\u00a0utilities,\u00a0and others involved in the housing<\/a> industry.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n PBA serves its membership by providing leadership on state regulatory and legislative issues and by offering products and services to its 29 local associations and chapters, per the release. PBA serves Pennsylvania communities and consumers through its efforts to protect homeownership rights and advocate for affordable housing options.
