{"id":80371,"date":"2026-01-07T16:42:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T16:42:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/80371\/"},"modified":"2026-01-07T16:42:09","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T16:42:09","slug":"new-mexican-pizza-restaurant-sets-opening-day-in-the-lehigh-valley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/80371\/","title":{"rendered":"New Mexican, pizza restaurant sets opening day in the Lehigh Valley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two of arguably the best cuisines in the world will be on offer when a new Mexican-Italian restaurant opens later this month in the Lehigh Valley.<\/p>\n<p>Mariachi Mexican Grill &amp; John\u2019s Pizza will hold a grand opening Jan. 19 at 8016 Route 873 in Washington Township, Lehigh County, said John Garcia, who co-owns the restaurant alongside his wife Maria.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mariachimexicangrill.com\/menu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The restaurant website<\/a> lists menu items like pizza, stromboli, sandwiches, tacos, chimichangas, quesadillas, burritos and nachos. Garcia added the property can seat about 120 people, including roughly 50 people inside a party room for private events.<\/p>\n<p>Mariachi Mexican Grill &amp; John\u2019s Pizza, which will replace <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcall.com\/2025\/04\/08\/new-restaurant-to-offer-mexican-food-pizza-in-the-lehigh-valley-mariachi-grill-washingtown-township\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the former Lighthouse Grille<\/a>, will operate 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The Garcias previously operated Villa Rosa &amp; Mariachi Mexican Grill in North Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" lazyautosizes lazyload\" alt=\"Mariachi Mexican Grill &amp; John's Pizza, is seen Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, in Washington Township.
