The ‘Trump Store’ in Pennsylvania<\/a>, known for selling MAGA merchandise, is closing after business dipped following Donald Trump<\/a>‘s reelection.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The outlet, located in Bensalem, a suburb outside of Philadelphia, announced its closing sale on the fifth anniversary of the January 6<\/a> insurrection, urging customers to clear out their merchandise before doors close at the end of the month.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The business announced on social media:\u00a0‘After 6 wonderful years at our Bensalem location, we have made the difficult decision to close The Trump Store.<\/p>\n

‘A big thank you to all of our loyal customers and the life-long friends that we\u2019ve made since our grand opening in February of 2020.’<\/p>\n

The store opened after Joe Biden<\/a> assumed office, and sales soared among conservatives<\/a> wanting to flex their disapproval of the current leader.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Co-owner Mike Domanico told the Philadelphia Inquirer<\/a>\u00a0that business has slowed down since Trump returned to the White House<\/a> last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Domanico said sales dipped after the President was impeached, but grew when anticipation built for his reelection campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When FBI agents raided Trump’s estate at Mar-a-Lago in the summer of 2022, the store saw a spike in sales.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Trump Store PA announced on January 6 that its final day in operation would be on January 31\u00a0<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Bensalem store’s owner,\u00a0Mike Domanico, said sales have dipped since the President assumed office in 2024\u00a0<\/p>\n

The outlet capitalized on Trump’s 2024 presidential election, selling victory merch and campaign products\u00a0<\/p>\n

Domanico added that MAGA supporters flocked to his store a year later to purchase ‘Free Trump’ shirts when Trump became the first president indicted on felony charges.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘The store has kind of run its course,’ he confessed during an interview with the Associated Press.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The closing sale runs until January 31\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘You know, it\u2019s been six years and the elections are over. Trump\u2019s not gonna be in another election, even though he\u2019ll be part of it.’<\/p>\n

Even though the Constitution bars any president from running for a third term,<\/a> Trump has floated the idea, and some of his supporters have made merchandise advertising for a 2028 run.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Trump Store PA also started selling merchandise advertising for his third term, but Domanico told AP it was just to rile people up.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The store’s final sale runs until January 31, with shirts as low as $3 and hats as low as $5.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Some of their items include a gold hat with Trump’s signature and ’47’ inscribed on the cap and a ‘Charlie Kirk Show’ mug.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The store dropped a line after Trump’s 2024 victory, with a slew of shirts that read, ‘Guess Who’s Back,’ ‘Trump Won Again, Get Over It,’ and ‘I Love It When I Wake Up and Trump is the 47th President.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Even though the Constitution bars Trump from running for a third term, Trump Store PA still has a line of 2028 merch\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a 2022 video tour, Domanico showed off a slew of products advertising Trump’s 2024 campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Domanico showed off his store while wearing a shirt with Trump’s face that read, ‘I’ll Be Back.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Trump Store PA sits in Bucks County, a crucial swing district in the state. Biden won the county by 51 percent in 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Current Governor Josh Shapiro won his race for attorney general that same year by 51.10 percent.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, Trump won the county in 2016 and narrowly carried it once again in 2024 over Kamala Harris.\u00a0<\/p>\n
