{"id":80717,"date":"2026-01-07T23:24:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T23:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/80717\/"},"modified":"2026-01-07T23:24:09","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T23:24:09","slug":"new-castle-man-sentenced-for-allowing-drugs-to-be-stored-in-distributed-from-his-home-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/80717\/","title":{"rendered":"New Castle man sentenced for allowing drugs to be stored in, distributed from his home \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 A New Castle man has been sentenced to six days in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for his role in an interstate drug trafficking operation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Edward Dietrich, 60, was sentenced in federal court on Wednesday in Pittsburgh, after being convicted of conspiring to distribute fentanyl, heroin and cocaine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Prosecutors say Deitrich allowed drugs to be stored and distributed from his home between August 2023 and August 2024.
