Allentown firefighters are responding to two separate fires Thursday evening.<\/p>\n
The first blaze broke out at a commercial building on the city\u2019s east side. That fire was reported at\u00a0913 East Highland St., near the intersection with\u00a0North Irving Street, according to emergency radio dispatches.<\/p>\n
Photos shared to social media showed heavy smoke coming from the structure. The building is listed as the address for\u00a0Super Spa Furniture LLC, a company that sells fixtures for nail salons, according to its website.<\/p>\n
Just after\u00a08:30 p.m., the fire department struck a third alarm on the blaze.<\/p>\n
A short time after that fire broke out, another was reported at a home on the 400 block of\u00a0Washington Street\u00a0in Center City, according to radio dispatches.<\/p>\n
Photos shared to social media showed fire in several row homes there. That blaze later went to two alarms.<\/p>\n
