Six Lehigh Valley establishments were cited in December by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for alleged liquor law violations.<\/p>\n
Licensees will have a chance to defend themselves against the citations before an administrative law judge, who may impose fines between $50 to $1,000 for minor violations, or up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. The judge may also suspend or revoke business licenses or mandate training.<\/p>\n
The following businesses were cited:<\/p>\n
Lehigh County<\/p>\n
Haja Lounge, Allentown: Allegedly did not notify the board of a change of manager within 15 days of a change between Oct. 21 and Nov. 3.<\/p>\n
Sarandonga, Allentown: Allegedly used or permitted usage of a loudspeaker or similar device inside or outside the premises where the sound could be heard outside the property line on July 25, Aug. 23, Sept. 21, Oct. 4 and 5; allegedly transported malt or brewed beverages without a license on June 25, July 9 and 20; allegedly permitted entertainment without an amusement permit between Sept 12-14, 19-21, 26-28, Oct. 3-5, 10-12 and 17-19.<\/p>\n
East Siders Bar & Grill, Allentown: Allegedly failed to ensure board-approved manager completely necessary training between May 2 and Oct. 5.<\/p>\n
Castaneda Inc, Catasauqua: Allegedly permitted a 20-year-old to enter the premises on May 9 and 10, and allegedly sold or furnished alcohol to a 20-year-old on those days.<\/p>\n
Northampton County<\/p>\n
Moorestown Beverage Corp., Wind Gap: Allegedly sold or furnished liquor or brewed beverages on Sunday during prohibited hours on Aug. 31, Sept. 7, 14, 21 and 28.<\/p>\n
