Chris\u2019 Prediction: Eagles 23, Vikings 20<\/p>\n
1) Slow down the Eagles\u2019 running game – The Eagles come into this one with the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year in Saquon Barkley and a very mobile quarterback in Jalen Hurts. This team has had its issues against the run this season, and although the return of Blake Cashman should help on that front, the Vikings need to have success in stopping the Eagles on the ground if they want to come out of this one with a win.<\/p>\n
2) Keep Carson Wentz upright – The Eagles have a bevy of outstanding pass rushers, and the Vikings have had protection issues all season. They\u2019ll be getting Donovan Jackson back up front for this one, and hopefully that will help to give the offensive line a boost. If the Vikings can protect Wentz in this one, he should have an opportunity to make plays to his wide receivers and tight ends against an Eagles\u2019 secondary that\u2019s having plenty of issues.<\/p>\n
3) Keep winning on special teams – In games like this one where one team might be regarded as a bit of an underdog (whether they should be or not), one of the places they can win is on special teams. The special teams units for the Vikings have, for the most part, been very good this season, and if that trend can continue it might help the Vikings get the couple of big plays they need to come out of this one on top.<\/p>\n
