{"id":84473,"date":"2026-01-12T10:32:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-12T10:32:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/84473\/"},"modified":"2026-01-12T10:32:09","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T10:32:09","slug":"easton-man-arrested-after-barricading-himself-inside-home-threatening-officers-with-handgun-police-say-nazareth-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/84473\/","title":{"rendered":"Easton man arrested after barricading himself inside home, threatening officers with handgun, police say | Nazareth Area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EASTON, Pa. &#8211; An Easton man is facing several charges, including making a terroristic threat, after a standoff with police.<\/p>\n<p>Easton police say around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, they responded to the 300 block of West Saint Joseph&#8217;s Street for a domestic assault.<\/p>\n<p>Police say when they attempted to arrest Sean West, he refused to come out.<\/p>\n<p>West then barricaded himself inside and threatened officers with a handgun.<\/p>\n<p>Police say that&#8217;s when a five-hour standoff took place.<\/p>\n<p>Police eventually got into the home and found West hiding in the second-floor closet.
