A Hellertown teenager was unhurt when he lost control of the Volkswagen Jetta he was driving in Williams Township last month, state police at Belfast said.<\/p>\n
In a news release, police said that on Dec. 12 shortly after 11 p.m. the 17-year-old was traveling west on Island Park Road west of Tumble Creek Road when he reportedly lost the ability to steer the car.<\/p>\n
Police said the boy also reported that there was \u201cno braking in the vehicle.\u201d<\/p>\n
As a result, they said the car went off the left side of the road and came to a stop on an embankment.<\/p>\n
