CLARK SUMMIT, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) \u2014 As Halloween quickly approaches, more and more people are getting into the holiday spirit and earlier today families came to Abington Heights High School for a trunk or treat.<\/p>\n
Put on by LCBC Clark Summit, families lined up and traveled down a row of decorated trunks.<\/p>\n
The church\u2019s fourth year doing the event \u2013 its their first not on the church grounds \u2013 and among the smiling faces the organizers enjoy the ability to give back to the community.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re not looking to get anything in return,” said campus pastor of LCBC Clark Summit Kyle Martin. “We\u2019re just wanting people to know that we care about them, we love them, we want to provide family friendly activities for them and trunk or treat hits the boxes.\u201d<\/p>\n
Last year saw over 600 kids come so the organizers hope even more to enjoy the over 30 trunks they have set up and keep enjoying it for years to come.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"CLARK SUMMIT, LACKAWANNA CO.
