Independent toddler through Grade Eight, Erie Day School (EDS) is receiving national recognition. The recognition follows the school\u2019s commitment to student-centered learning that allows families to understand all educational options that are available to them.<\/p>\n
The school has been named an \u201cAll Star\u201d participant during the annual celebration of National School Choice Week from Jan. 25 until Jan. 31. The event organizer the nonprofit National School Choice Awareness Foundation.<\/p>\n
Erie Day School has been known for nearly 100 years for inquiry based, whole-child approach to education. It emphasizes with academic excellence, social-emotional learning, creativity, and experiential opportunities that allow students to think deeply, act compassionately, and engage with the world around them.<\/p>\n
With small classes and educators dedicated to helping students excel, the community allows students to be known, challenged, and supported at every stage of development.<\/p>\n
Schools that receive this \u201cAll Star\u201d recognition are part of five percent within a grouping of over 26,400 schools throughout the country that participate.<\/p>\n
These \u201cAll Star\u201d recognized schools are known and recognized for hosting welcoming, family-centered events that can help families navigate their educational choices as well as celebrating their students, teachers, and the local school communities.<\/p>\n
During the National School Choice Week Erie Day School will host an Open House that welcomes the public specifically prospect families to learn more about the school and an opportunity for families to experience the warm and engaging learning environment.<\/p>\n
This is the second year that Erie Day School has been recognized as an \u201cAll Star\u201d participant.<\/p>\n
