Police are also looking for three possible suspects, all believed to be boys between 16 and 17 years old.<\/p>\n

The discovery was made around 5:15 p.m. Monday at a Chipotle in North Philadelphia.<\/a><\/p>\n Police said the teen, who was shot in the chest, was found by a restaurant employee.<\/p>\n “We’re getting information that the 16-year-old victim was inside with at least one other juvenile male. They asked for keys to the restroom, and that’s when they both went in,” Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said.<\/p>\n The victim was pronounced dead inside the bathroom, according to police.<\/p>\n SEE ALSO: Driver shot during Portland immigration operation charged with assault: DOJ<\/a><\/p>\n “Not only did we find the victim in the bathroom, we found one spent shell casing. So, at least one shot was fired from a semi-automatic weapon,” Small said.<\/p>\n It was the first day back from winter break at Temple University. Police say the Chipotle was very crowded at the time of the shooting.<\/p>\n “A lot of students eat here. A lot of people gather at Chipotle,” Temple senior Chikondi Rose said.<\/p>\n “The loss of life to gun violence is a profound tragedy, and there are no words that can make sense of it. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and loved ones,” Temple University said in a statement. “This is, of course, deeply upsetting and took place adjacent to our campus in a commercial establishment. We encourage students who are impacted to seek support through Tuttleman Counseling Services<\/a>.”<\/p>\n Students say they were surprised to return to school and then get a TU alert about a shooting.<\/p>\n “It’s really sad to hear.
