Set in grim Victorian London, this macabre musical masterpiece follows Benjamin Barker, a barber returning from wrongful imprisonment under the alias Sweeney Todd. Driven by vengeance against the corrupt Judge Turpin, who destroyed his family, Todd partners with the resourceful and morally flexible Mrs. Lovett, owner of a struggling pie shop. Together, they concoct a gruesome plan that blurs the line between justice and madness\u2014and soon, Londoners find themselves part of the city\u2019s most sinister secret.<\/p>\n

Featuring Stephen Sondheim\u2019s iconic, dissonant score, Sweeney Todd is a chilling exploration of obsession, morality, and the dark hunger that lies beneath civility.
