Crews at the scene said the flames extended beyond the oven, with smoke showing from the garage.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters staged on Hilgert Avenue and stretched a line up the driveway.<\/p>\n<p>Within a few minutes of the start of operations, the bulk of the fire was knocked down, and crews were ventilating the home with a fan.<\/p>\n<p>The fire was placed under control at 2:35 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Fire crews quickly contained a house fire in Cumru Township Tuesday afternoon.
