A Philadelphia man is behind bars after a shooting at a Bensalem Township trailer park last week led investigators to a home in Levittown.<\/p>\n

Travis Fleck, 21, turned himself in to police Tuesday to face charges including attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault. <\/p>\n

The investigation began at 12:44 a.m. last Thursday morning when Bensalem Township police responded to a 9-1-1 call at the Top of the Ridge Trailer Park on Gibson Road. <\/p>\n

Arriving officers found a man with a severe gunshot wound to his left arm, police said. <\/p>\n

In a statement, police credited the responding officers with saving the man\u2019s life by applying a tourniquet to control heavy bleeding before he was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia in critical condition.<\/p>\n

According to detectives, the shooting followed an argument between the victim, who was on foot, and the occupants of a red four-door sedan. <\/p>\n

During a physical fight between the victim and the driver, a passenger in the back seat fired two rounds. One bullet struck the victim, while the second hit a nearby mobile home, police said. <\/p>\n

Investigators used a combination of residential surveillance footage, intersection cameras, and a license plate reader to track the car as it fled the township, police said. <\/p>\n

The vehicle was traced to a residence in Levittown, and Fleck was identified as a person of interest.<\/p>\n

Police said Fleck admitted to firing the shots and acknowledged he did not have a valid permit to carry a concealed firearm. <\/p>\n

During a search of his residence, detectives recovered four firearms. Among them was a 9mm \u201cghost gun\u201d that investigators determined was used in the shooting, police said. <\/p>\n

Fleck was preliminarily arraigned Tuesday by District Judge Terry Hughes. Bail was set at 10 percent of $1 million.<\/p>\n

The victim has since been released from the hospital.<\/p>\n
