Born in Scranton on March 22, 2006, Marshal was the beloved son of Robyn J. Mishuk-Gordon, with whom he lived, and Ian P. Gordon.

Those who knew Marshal will remember a young man whose presence filled every room with warmth, humor, and an easygoing joy. He had a way of making people feel seen and supported, always ready with a helping hand, a laugh, or a moment of genuine kindness. And anyone who spent time with him knew his signature look – his well-worn boots, which he wore with pride and personality. They werent just footwear to him; they were part of who he was.

A proud graduate of Abington Heights High School, Marshal excelled both in the classroom and on the field. He was an honor student, a dedicated member of the football team, and a standout in powerlifting earning 4th and 5th place national rankings, achievements that spoke to his discipline and drive.

In December 2025, Marshal completed his studies at the School of Petroleum and Natural Gas at Lackawanna College, a milestone he worked hard for and celebrated with pride. He was just days away from beginning his career with Smith Industrial Solutions Inc. as a natural gas operator at the Lackawanna Energy Center in Jessup – a future he was excited to build.

Marshal also cherished the simple, grounding parts of life. He spent countless hours helping his grandfather Paul at the family tire shop in Moosic, a place where he learned the value of hard work and community. He loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors – moments where he felt most at peace.

Above all, Marshal was a family centered young man. He is survived by his younger brother Maxwel whom Marshal never missed a chance to defend and protect; his beloved maternal grandparents, Paul and Kathy Mishuk whom Marshal never passed a invite for family pizza night; his uncle Paul and aunt Kathleen Mishuk; and many dear friends whose lives are forever better for having known him.

Private services and interment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wyoming, officiated by Reverend Joseph J. Mosley. Arrangements were entrusted to Semian Funeral Home in Taylor.

Marshal’s life, though heartbreakingly short, was full of purpose, love, and promise. His memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the countless lives he touched.

Please visit the funeral home website to share memories and extended condolences.

Marshal Gordon

January 11, 2026

Marshal Gordon OBITUARY Marshal Gordon, 19, of Clarks Summit, left this world far too soon following a tragic…

[15
178,180,179
0":"post-86993","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-scranton","8":"tag-scranton","9":"tag-scranton-headlines","10":"tag-scranton-news
["GET
