ALLENTOWN, Pa. \u2014 From one city to another: A bakery in Lehigh County has made its first (and only) delivery to New York City.<\/p>\n

Mary Ann Donut Kitchen shared on a Facebook post<\/a> Thursday that they drove a truck straight to the Ed Sullivan Theater, home of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

The reason for the special delivery? A shoutout on the national television program by Allentown native, Amanda Seyfried.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Seyfried was a guest on the show on Tuesday night, where she highlighted several Lehigh Valley businesses and local events during the show’s “Community Calendar” segment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mary Ann Donut Kitchen was shouted out for its Fastnacht Day event by Seyfried herself.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The bakery said that numerous people gave them the idea to deliver donuts to the show after the shoutout.\u00a0<\/p>\n
