Want to own a private island in Ohio? One Lake Erie property has hit the market<\/a>, and it can all be yours \u2014 for $5 million.<\/p>\n

Once owned by President Rutherford B. Hayes, Mouse Island spans about seven acres of wooded land just off the coast of Catawba Island in Port Clinton (about an hour East of Toledo), according to the property listing<\/a>. Zoned for private use, the property is still within reach of attractions such as Cedar Point and the Lake Erie Islands.<\/p>\n

Based on the listing\u2019s estimate, a 30\u2011year fixed mortgage at an average rate of 6.025% would result in a monthly payment of about $25,373.<\/p>\n
