BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. – The bomb squad, FBI, local police and fire departments and other entities all crowded a Northampton County neighborhood Thursday night.<\/p>\n
County dispatchers confirmed emergency crews were dispatched to a home near Lehigh and 12th streets in Bethlehem Township at 5:20 p.m. They were on the scene for approximately three hours.<\/p>\n
69 News arrived to find the bomb squad, FBI, Northampton County Emergency Management, Northampton County Sheriff’s Office, as well as Bethlehem Township police and fire departments on scene.<\/p>\n
One woman told 69 News she was stranded outside for two hours waiting to get back in her home.<\/p>\n
Records show someone who lives at the address where the bomb squad was called in was recently booked at the Northampton County Correctional Facility with a criminal complaint filed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
That person is charged with three counts of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize, three counts of reckless endangerment, and a simple assault charge. That person is awaiting a preliminary hearing.\u00a0<\/p>\n
69 News is still waiting for more information from officials. The Bethlehem Township Fire Department says this was an isolated police matter.<\/p>\n
