Ricardo Santos is close to leaving Swansea City for Reading after the clubs agreed a fee for the centre-back.<\/p>\n

Santos has endured a frustrating spell at Swansea since joining on a free transfer<\/a> following his release by Bolton Wanderers last summer.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old has made only one Swans appearance – as a substitute in the 3-0 defeat at Bristol City in November – having been behind club captain Ben Cabango, Cameron Burgess and on-loan West Ham youngster Kaelan Casey in the queue for game-time in central defence.<\/p>\n

Santos’ attempts to establish himself at Swansea have not been helped by injury, with a knee problem seeing him miss the first six weeks of the season.<\/p>\n
