ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A donut shop in Allentown is making the most out of its mention on a late-night show.<\/p>\n

They made a special delivery to New York for Stephen Colbert and the late show staff.<\/p>\n

Boxes and boxes of donuts from Mary Ann Donut Kitchen made it to the city. It was such a great move after late night TV host Stephen Colbert and Lehigh Valley native and actor Amanda Seyfried were chatting about the shop earlier this week.<\/p>\n

Amanda was a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night to chat about her new film “The Testament of Ann Lee.”<\/p>\n

On the show, they did a bit Colbert calls “Community Calendar.” It always highlights real events from his guest’s hometown.<\/p>\n

And since Amanda is from Allentown — she went to William Allen High School — the community calendar was all about the Lehigh Valley, including Mary Ann Donut Kitchen.<\/p>\n

Mary Ann Donut Kitchen made the most of the mention and posted about it on social media.<\/a><\/p>\n

And then they had this great idea: bakers dropped off dozens and dozens of donuts for Colbert and his staff to enjoy Thursday.
