The state police Bureau of Gaming Enforcement is investigating the source of four counterfeit $100 bills that were discovered at Mohegan Pennsylvania over the weekend.<\/p>\n
Troopers say a purse found on the gaming floor of the Plains Twp. casino Saturday afternoon was turned into to staff. During an inventory, authorities discovered four $100 bills in the purse all had the same serial number, troopers said.<\/p>\n
The owner of the purse could not be located but her sister provided troopers with contact information for her, according to police.<\/p>\n
The bills were seized and troopers alerted the U.S. Secret Service to the discovery of the counterfeit bills.<\/p>\n
