Longo stated, \u201cThe Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations, an official city department, held a \u201ctactical\u201d training course in conjunction with Democratic Socialists of America for those who want to sabotage and interfere with enforcement of codified law.\u201dHe called for Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O\u2019Connor to take action by removing members of the commission who are responsible and by halting funding for further programming. The commission, which is described on the city\u2019s website as a \u201ccivil rights law enforcement agency,” is comprised of 11 members, according to the website. The commission\u2019s social media account responded to the mayor\u2019s post, but it appears the reply was deleted. The group said it did not hold the training but rather shared the post. It went on to say that city money was not spent on the event, and the post was not reviewed or approved by the administration.
