He was convicted of second-degree murder, robbery and aggravated assault for the August 6, 2016 killing of 28-year-old Michael Shields in Amity Township.<\/p>\n<p>Shields was shot to death during an attempted robbery in the 600 block of E. Benjamin Franklin Highway. Another man, who was pistol-whipped by Johnson and injured during the altercation, survived.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson met with one of the victims prior to the homicide to inquire about a dirt bike for sale.
