Just before 9:00 am Saturday, Pennsylvania State Police received a phone call from Venango County 911, reporting that a patient was stabbed several times by another patient at the Sugar Valley Lodge.<\/p>\n
Sugar Valley Lodge is a non-profit personal care home,<\/p>\n
The Lodge is located in Polk Boro, Venango County.<\/p>\n
The victim, Mary Gruphofer, 60-tears old of Polk, Pa. succumbed to the stab wounds at the scene.<\/p>\n
When Troppers arrive at the scene, the victim was found dead in her room.<\/p>\n
Dyan Diven was arrested and immediately taken into custody.<\/p>\n
Diven has been charged with Criminal Homicide.<\/p>\n
She was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Andrew Fish and was denied bail.<\/p>\n
Diven remains in the Venango County Jail.<\/p>\n
