The Philadelphia Eagles’ 2025 season ended with a playoff loss and questions about player performance.Several key offensive players, including Saquon Barkley and A.J. Brown, saw a decline in their Pro Football Focus grades from 2024 to 2025.Despite a drop in his PFF grade, Saquon Barkley rushed for over 1,000 yards for the second consecutive season.Multiple starting offensive linemen, such as Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson, also experienced a regression in their individual performance grades.<\/p>\n

The new league year is fast approaching, and with weeks until the Super Bowl, the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>‘ uncertain off-season has begun after a 23-19 loss to the battered 49ers last weekend that knocked Nick Sirianni’s team out of the playoffs and into an off-season filled with questions, a new offensive coordinator,<\/a> and potential trades.<\/a><\/p>\n

Still, one of the best teams in the NFL, the\u00a0Eagles,\u00a0was led by star power at multiple positions, but regression is unavoidable within a roster, and Philadelphia saw some concerning declines from important players in 2025.<\/p>\n

Here’s a closer look at the players who regressed most for the Eagles in 2025, using Pro Football Focus’s individual overall grades as our guide.<\/p>\n

RB Saquon Barkley<\/p>\n

Barkley is the first Eagle to rush for 1,000+ yards (1,140 \u2013 10th in NFL) in back-to-back seasons since LeSean McCoy (2013-14).<\/p>\n

WR A.J. Brown<\/p>\n

2024 PFF grade: 90.9 NFL rank: 3rd<\/p>\n

2025 PFF grade: 80.9 NFL rank: 15th<\/p>\n

WR DeVonta Smith<\/p>\n

2024 PFF grade: 82.7 NFL rank: 14th<\/p>\n
