PennDOT<\/a> maintenance crews will conduct road work at 17 locations across Northampton County<\/a> from Tuesday, Jan. 20 through Friday, Jan. 23, with most projects causing lane restrictions during daytime hours.<\/p>\n

The work will take place between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day and includes pothole patching, crack sealing, litter removal, and other maintenance activities. <\/p>\n

Most projects will require lane restrictions with flagging, though some locations will only have shoulder or median restrictions.<\/p>\n

On Jan. 20, crews will begin pothole patching on High Street in Nazareth Borough between Broad Street and Cherry Hill Road. The same day, crack sealing work will start on Airport Road in Hanover Township between Schoenersville Road and Mountain View Drive, continuing through Jan. 23.<\/p>\n

Litter removal operations are scheduled for Route 33 North on Jan. 20 and Route 33 South on Jan. 21, affecting areas between Route 22 and Wind Gap Borough. These projects will require shoulder and median restrictions.<\/p>\n

Pothole patching will continue Jan. 21-22 on Main Street in Northampton Borough between 21st Street and Cherryville Road, and on Jan. 23 along Route 329 in East Allen Township between Airport Road and Seemsville Road.<\/p>\n

Interstate 78 will see shoulder restrictions in Williams Township on Jan. 20-21 and in Lower Saucon Township on Jan. 22. Additional work is planned for Route 611, Bingen Road, Route 412, Tatamy Road, and several other local roads throughout the week.<\/p>\n

Rain may delay any of the scheduled projects. Motorists can check current road conditions at www.511PA.com, a free service available 24 hours daily that provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. The service is also available through a smartphone app for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X.<\/p>\n
