{"id":90447,"date":"2026-01-18T23:17:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-18T23:17:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/90447\/"},"modified":"2026-01-18T23:17:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-18T23:17:10","slug":"pittsburgh-international-airport-adds-another-daily-non-stop-flight-to-los-angeles-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/90447\/","title":{"rendered":"Pittsburgh International Airport adds another daily non-stop flight to Los Angeles \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH  \u2014 Pittsburgh International Airport will soon have another nonstop route to the West Coast. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/blueskypit.com\/strength-of-pittsburgh-market-fuels-another-la-flight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/blueskypit.com\/strength-of-pittsburgh-market-fuels-another-la-flight\/\">airport announced on Friday<\/a> that United will service daily nonstop flights to the Los Angeles International Airport <a href=\"https:\/\/www.united.com\/en-us\/flights-from-pittsburgh-to-los-angeles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.united.com\/en-us\/flights-from-pittsburgh-to-los-angeles\">starting on March 29.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">This is now the third nonstop option to Los Angeles out of Pittsburgh. American Airlines started daily service in 2025, and Breeze Airways offers the flight up to five times a week. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Local officials credit the new flights with Pittsburgh\u2019s connection to the innovation, tech, corporate and entertainment industries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cThis flight addition by United shows the strength of the Pittsburgh market and we\u2019re pleased to welcome United\u2019s investment in Pittsburgh with another West Coast destination from PIT,\u201d Pittsburgh International Airport official Bryan Dietz said. \u201cLos Angeles is an important destination for both business and leisure passengers as well as a connecting point for flights to Asia and Australia.
