And through those connections, dreams came true.”

They said the lounge saw genuine relationships flourish.

“Marriages, birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, promotions, and baby showers all found a home here,” the Turners said. “Some guests and members earned college degrees, started and expanded businesses, and some others secured new jobs and careers.”

The Turners said they were deeply grateful to the staff, members, guests and more who helped shape Legacy.

“We are blessed in knowing that the Legacy we leave is not the building but the beautiful memories that we all share,” the Turners said. “Thank you all for making this experience one that we will live in our hearts forever.”

The lounge was open to all but offered paid monthly memberships with perks like a personalized humidor locker, discounts on cigars, and priority booking for private events.

With its leather seating, warm interior and full suite of amenities, as well as a selection of top-shelf spirits and gourmet lite bites, the lounge sought to create an upscale experience.

Rick Turner described Legacy’s ambiance as “masculine but still sexy.”

The Turners did not respond to questions about their plans for the property.

Legacy joins the ranks of a handful of other Penn Avenue businesses that have closed or changed hands in the past two years.

Those closures include G.N.A Ristorante, which shuttered over the summer and listed its property at 421 Penn Ave. for sale.
