HARRISBURG, Pa. – Pennsylvania’s Governor is opening up about his role in Kamala Harris’s White House run ahead of his memoir’s release.<\/p>\n

Josh Shapiro says he was questioned by Harris and her vetting team about his links to Israel.<\/p>\n

According to his upcoming memoir, Shapiro says he was directly asked “Have you ever been an agent of the Israeli government?”<\/p>\n

He says he was surprised by the question, and added he found it offensive.<\/p>\n

Shapiro does identify as a Zionist and was critical of pro-Palestinian college protests.<\/p>\n
