{"id":91225,"date":"2026-01-20T00:23:53","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T00:23:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/91225\/"},"modified":"2026-01-20T00:23:53","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T00:23:53","slug":"interstate-90-in-erie-county-reopens-after-crash-speed-limits-lowered-traffic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/91225\/","title":{"rendered":"Interstate 90 in Erie County Reopens after Crash; Speed Limits Lowered | Traffic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Part of Interstate 90 in Erie County has reopened following a crash on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The eastbound lanes between Exit 9 (Route 18, Girard\/Platea) and Exit 16 (Route 98, Fairview\/Franklin Center) were closed for a couple hours due to multi-vehicle crashes.<\/p>\n<p>Interstate 80 eastbound, which was shutdown between Exit 35 (Route 308, Clintonville) and Exit 42 (Route 38, Emlenton), has reopened.<\/p>\n<p>PennDOT has also reduced speed limits to 45 miles per hour on these interstates:<\/p>\n<p>Interstate 79 from the Interstate 90 interchange to the end point in Erie County<\/p>\n<p>Interstate 86 from the Interstate 90 interchange to the New York state line<\/p>\n<p>Interstate 90 from the Ohio state line to the New York state line<\/p>\n<p>PennDOT is also reminding motorists to pack an emergency kit with basics like food, water, blankets, and medications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Part of Interstate 90 in Erie County has reopened following a crash on Monday.
